Free resource · French speaking
A practical pack for speaking with more confidence.
A 40-page French revision pack for GCSE and IGCSE students. Read a strong answer, make it yours, then say it aloud — without signing up.

Inside the pack
Designed for the moment notes become speech.
This is not a list to read once. It gives you short answers to get started, stronger answers to study, and prompts that make you retrieve language under a little pressure.
- 24 speaking questions with short and stronger model answers
- Follow-up questions to move beyond a memorised script
- Worked photo practice and role plays
- Pronunciation and read-aloud practice
- Useful vocabulary for building your own answers
- Board-specific mini-mocks
- A seven-day speaking challenge
For GCSE and IGCSE
The pack includes material for AQA GCSE, Pearson Edexcel GCSE, Pearson Edexcel International GCSE and Cambridge IGCSE. Use the sections that match the qualification you are preparing for.
Read, then rehearse
Reading is the warm-up. Practising aloud is the work.
Reading the model
Notice how the answer is built: a view, a reason, an example and a time phrase. Underline language you could genuinely use. Read it for meaning and pronunciation.
Practising aloud
Close the page and answer from the prompt. Say the short version first, add one detail, then try the stronger version. Record yourself or use the prompts in ScoreMySpeech to hear where your answer can become clearer.
A simple seven-day rhythm
Small sessions. Real speaking.
Build your bank
Read the model answers, choose useful phrases and say each one slowly.
Answer without looking
Use the questions, follow-ups and photos. Keep going when the wording is not perfect.
Run a mini-mock
Work under time pressure, then repeat the answers that felt least secure.
Keep practising
Turn the pack into a conversation.
ScoreMySpeech lets you practise French speaking aloud with board-specific activities and feedback. The app is practice support, not an official mark or grade prediction.
