The exact topic organisation varies between AQA and Pearson Edexcel, but many common subject areas overlap. These nine student-friendly groups help you organise practice; they are not an official list of themes for every exam board. Check your school’s specification and board-specific guidance.

Identity and relationships

For each group, prepare a few useful words, one present opinion, a past example and a possible future plan. Practise selecting the idea that answers the question instead of reciting everything you know. In a role play, complete the transaction; in a read-aloud task, keep the text unchanged.
